Ram Mandir to Witness Huge Laddoo

Ram Mandir to Witness Huge Laddoo Prasad Offering on Ram Navami
This year’s Ram Navami is special for Ayodhya as the grand Ram Mandir is all set to receive 1,11,111 kgs of laddoo in Prasad. This is being done by The Devraha Hans Baba Trust which will send such a huge amount of Prasad on the 17th of April on account of the holy Ram Navami celebration. The same trust had sent 40,000 kg of laddoo to the Ram Mandir on its Pran Pratishtha Ceremony on January 22.

This year’s Ram Navami is special for all countrymen as it marks the first occasion after the consecration of Ram Lalla’s idol at his birthplace in Ayodhya. It is also reported that the trust will also look after the decorations of Ram Mandir on the big occasion. Talking about the preparations and enthusiasm amongst individuals for this auspicious day, the temple’s chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das told ANI, “The trust is also managing the decorations Navami will be celebrated with great enthusiasm. This time it’s special because the celebrations are happening after the ‘pranpratishtha’ ceremony.” The trustee of the Devraha Hans Baba Trust, Atul Kumar Saxena said that it is customary to send laddoos to various temples such as Tirupati Balaji temple and Kashi Vishwanath temple.

The Ram Mandir Trust issued an appeal to people on Monday requesting everyone to avoid visiting the mandir on Ram Navami and instead watch the live telecast of the ceremony on Doordarshan. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi has decorated Ram Lalla’s idol with remarkably hand-woven khadi cotton clothes. These specially crafted pieces of clothing are paired with real silver and gold khadi hand-block prints and are inspired by Vaishnav Chinha. A video of the dressing has gone viral on social media, offering viewers and devotees a glimpse of the lord’s beautiful attire.
